Only one word can describe band practice today...
AWESOME!!!!!!!
I'm so happy and proud that we got the 2nd song all on the field (pavement, rather) in what was it, 2 hours?! Everyone put so much into the rehearsal, and still had fun. The heat wasn't bad because it was so breezy and turned out to be the perfect day for marching.
Well, backing up a bit, Thursday's practice went pretty good over at the parking lot. And the game last night was tons of fun. (I missed ya up in the stands, Janae'!) For our first ever performance at a football game on a wet, sloshy field, we did great.
I should really go clean up my room for tomorrow. I'm baby-sitting tonight, but i can try to get some homework done there since i don't have much. Then tomorrow, hooray for 18th Birthdays! *Janae' and Caity, if you can come over, come around 4. Call me to let me know or if you need directions again. That's about all for now. See many of you tomorrow, or else i'll see ya Monday since right now we still have school scheduled. <3
