8 days until i say goodbye to childhood..!
Lots going on lately...where to begin?
Well, Thursday night's band practice at the parking lot between beall's outlet and lowe's went so surprisingly well. Not perfect of course, but not as disastrous as i had expected. Didn't learn any new sets, and some of the sets were thrown astray due to lack of every other yard line, but other than that we had a good practice with great work ethic. I didn't get home until 9:30 because we had to help unload everything from the trailers back at the school. Friday morning i went down to red cross (instead of going to the beach) so i can help in a shelter sometime this weekend. Then later i went to gina's with melissa and chelsea and we went swimming and played pool and video games hehe. Then chad came over, followed by shannon, and later kyle cox. We all went to applebee's over by hollywood 20 for dinner, and alyssa and jameson met us there. Then we intended on having a bunch of other band kids meet us at the movies to see Napoleon Dynamite, but it got sold out by the time most of them got there. :( We had bought our tickets before dinner, so we couldn't just all switch and see a different movie. I felt so bad. Well the movie was so stupid that you couldn't help but laugh sometimes. We had fun. They tricked me and told the waiter at applebee's it was my b-day, but i got a free sundae and a balloon lol. Then at the movies, it was so crowded that we were sitting on the stairs until we got yelled at lol, so we had to all split up and find random seats. Then today, i got up early again because i was going to volunteer at braden river elem. for the shelter, but no one was really evacuating to there yet, so i left and signed up to go tomorrow to MTI instead since they need people more. So i came home, washed the car, and then mom, brian, and i went to the brandon mall. I picked out so many things for my b-day. There were lots of sales going on for labor day i guess, so i got a bunch of clothes, a necklace, and a couple hair accesories. Hollister had some cute stuff on sale, i got a poncho for only $9.99! We got frappuccinos on our way out, then came home. Tonight my mom and i are going to plan out my pics for senior page. Then it's some major homework time. I actually don't have all that much, but i figure i will get a jump start on my econ essay and not procrastinate again. Hey janae', maybe monday we can come early to band (like at 5?) and make some homecoming queen posters?? Gotta love how Mr. Lambert wrote on my form, 'Put all of my band girls on the court!' Such band support! :o) Well that's about it. Had to write a lot in case the power goes out tomorrow and i can't get back on for a while. Everyone stay safe, see ya on monday (hopefully) at band!
