my cancun trip
Well I just back from Cancun on Friday. I've been recovering so I haven't felt like typing in this journal. Oh my site is almost finished too so if you happen to read this then look at the site. Any ways, I had an incredible trip!!
Monday: First we almost miss our flight. We couldn't even check our baggages because we were too late. They were small enough to do carry on's. Then, Seth's dads ticket was messed up so we thought he was going to have to stay behind but they let him go anyway. We got on the plain like 2 minutes before it was about to take off. So when we got into Mexico we had to wait in immigration for ever. Then customs; the line there was like 2 hrs long. So we paid this Spanish official 20.00 and he got us to the front of the line. When we got to the hotel it was like nothing we ever imagined. It was so beauty. The water was clear all the way to the bottom of the water. (This coming from a girl who's never been to mexico). That night we ate at a place in the hotel Maria Margarita We thought it was going to be mexican food but it wasn't all that wonderful. We did lots of swimming n stuff too btw. Oh-we also got some drinks. I had bahama mamma's<3
Tuesday: We spent most of the day in the pool swimming; playing volleyball; water areboics(i did this); and i took dance lessons too. Seth laughed at me the whole time but it was cool because I was having fun. This is the day that I got extremely sunburned. Which everyone did really. We went kayaking in the ocean too. They had this pool/bar which was the main pool; then they had a pool/bar near our room near the roof. they had stools in the pool so you could sit at the bar. We ate at the Italian cafe' which was tons better.
Wednesday: We went on a scuba diving tour. We started at this stream that went into the ocean. At the beginnning we seen some pretty cool fish; but by the end it wasn't that great. We stayed at this place for about an hour. Seth's dad and mom seen a stingray. Then we went to this underwater "cavern" thing. And dove around in there and had our picture taken. It was freaking cold in there too!! When we got out we got served a real mexican dinner(well to me at least). Salsa, rice, beans, beer..yada yada. It was a great meal though. We seen this male chicken chase this female chicken; then she started chasing him; anyways it was really funny. When we left there we went to this cliff thing where you could jump off. it was 25ft deep. the jump was prolly 15 ft deep. Anyways, Seth and his dad got right up there to do it. I was scared and didn't wanna. Well then Seth's mom did it so I had to do it. So i did it! When I got done I did it again. People jumped off that thing for about an hour. Seth and I went scuba diving in the water there. It was absolutely beautiful. It was the best place we went too. Seth saw a eel too!! When we got back we went to 5th street and went shopping. We went back later and I bought a swim suit. They had a mayan dance show this night!
Thursday: This was another day spent in the pool and enjoying the sun. Playing volleyball, basketball(I won horse!), and floating in the pool. That's about all that happened this day. Wait. They had a Michael Jackson impersonater that night. We got a picture with him. the guy was pretty good. Then we started packing.
Friday: Seth stayed up all night because we left at 4:00 in the morning. I tried and couldn't we got into an argument but everything is better now. We left mexico at 7:00. When we got back into the states we ate then went home and went to bed.
Overall I had a great time! <3333
