10 Day Fic Meme
Day One: Write ten lines of dialogue between two characters who had drunken sex last night and are not talking about it. Ever.
"Ummmmmm, so do you wanna talk about-"
"No"
"Should we?"
"No"
"So last night never happened?"
"Yes"
"Are you sure Jin?"
"Yes"
"I mean are you really su-"
"BYE TEGOSHI"
Day Two: Write a scene in four sentences in which two characters bond over something that would seem trivial to a passerby.
"Yo Taguchi!" Nishikido yelled from across the room.
"Hello Nishikido-san"
"I saved you some of those chicken things you like so much, your welcome" he said shoving the food Taguchi's way.
"Ahhhh sugoi, now that you did I'll think of it as our special food" Taguchi said smiling brightly. Ryo just huffed and walked away, hiding a small smile.
Day Three: Write seven sentences from the perspective of a passerby witnessing Day Two's scene.
'Since when have Ryo and Taguchi been friends?' Tegoshi wonders from the corner where he's stalking Ryo. 'Ryo is supposed to be mine and mine only!'
Tegoshi spends the rest of day ignoring Ryo.
The next day he sees the two together again and swears to get revenge on a certain tall man for taking away his favorite poison tongued Teddy bear.
Day Four: Write a character's reaction to someone's love confession in one sentence.
Why Taguchi chooses now to confess is beyond Kame, with the world falling apart around them and he knows he should be scared and searching for safety but Taguchi's saying what he's been waiting so long to hear and he can't help but feel somewhat safe in the older man's arms, to die together like this would be fine.
Day Five: Write a scene in eight sentences in which someone's going through his/her version of "It's a Wonderful Life."
"So I met this fairy last night"
"Mmmmm"
"It looked a lot like Kamenashi"
"Really"
"Yea, he showed me what the world would've been like if I was never born"
"Hn, how was it?"
"It sucked"
"Naturally"
"Hey Maru what would you have done if we never met?"
"Impossible"
"Ehhh what do you mean 'impossible'?"
"No matter what, even if I didn't realize it, my heart would always be searching for you, and I wouldn't be able to rest until I found you. Besides I'm sure the fairies would lead you to me"
Ueda agreed.
Day Six: Write a scene in six sentences in which a character is searching for someone in the last moments of the end of the world. warning for character death.
The earth begins to shake and buildings start falling to the ground around him. People have been saying the world was going to end for years, but this time it was actually true. Taguchi began to run, he wasn't sure of anything at the moment except for the fact that he had to find Kamenashi.
He had been holding his feelings for the younger man inside for years, ever since they were juniors he had had feelings for the fiercely determined turtle, he always feared he would ruin their relationship by confessing. But now the world is ending and he's about to die, but not without finding Kame first. When he spots said man he's covered in dirt and debris yet he still manages to look amazing. Taguchi takes a deep breath, realizing it's now or never.
Day Seven: Write a breakup scene in three sentences without giving the reason for it or using dialogue.
It isn't until after that fact that Ueda realizes that throwing a lamp at Ryo's head may not have been the best idea, but whatever he deserved it.
As he waits outside for Nakamaru to come pick him up he realizes something else.
He forgot his boxing gloves in Ryo's place.

The second time they kiss is way better than the first, Ryo savors the taste of Jin's mouth on his and wonders why they didn't do this sooner. When they pull apart he knows Jin has been thinking the same thing, and then he goes in for another kiss, third times a charm.
Day Nine: Ask flist for prompts. Write one sentence each for the first five prompts you receive.

When Jin confesses to Nakamaru he isn't thinking about the looks he'll get, or the what people will think of him, or how this will effect the others. He *is* thinking about the look on Nakamaru's face and about how Maru could reject him, but it's worth the risk he has to know the other man's feelings.
Maru's eyes are wide, incredulous, plump lips opened slightly as his eyebrows seem to try to merge with his forehead, if the situation wasn't so serious Jin would laugh at such a face. But nows not the time for that, now he has to hold Maru in his arms, feel Maru's body against his. He's filled with uncertainty as he reaches out for said, holding his breath, Jin's tired of living in fear he's gonna live starting now.
