Summary: After Jin leaves for America Kame finds a special kind of comfort in Ueda, and Ueda in Kame but when Jin comes back will their happiness be destroyed? Ueda and Taguchi have been together for years but will that all end with Jin’s arrival? Is whats done in the dark about to come into the light?

“Akanishi?”
That voice was music to his ears. Kame, his Kame, had spoken his to him a question in his voice. The world stopped when Jin saw Kame’s shocked face, a mix of fear and excitement in his eyes. The rest of KAT-TUN wore equally shocked expressions; Nakamaru’s eyes were almost bulging out of his head, and Koki looked like he had just seen a ghost. Ueda’s expression was a lot less welcoming than the others, his face matching that of someone who had just had their heart ripped out. Jin wondered if anything had happened between him and Junno since he’d been gone, he scanned the room looking for his tall friend to find him smiling, of course, but his eyes shone with slight horror and something else he couldn’t place. “Oh Jin, I knew you’d come running to me after I called you last night!!” Koki exclaimed squeezing the life out of his former band mate.
“EHHHH?!?!? I didn’t talk to you last night!!!” Jin responded playfully pushing his friend away.
“I talked to you in my dreams and you felt it and came to see me!!” Tanaka pouted. Nakamaru promptly hit him on the head mumbling something along the lines of that’s not how it works and then excusing himself and dragging a protesting Koki with him, leaving Jin, Junno, Ueda and Kame alone. At first it was quite with everyone just looking at each out, Ueda’s eyes continued to shift between Jin and Kame. When in America Jin had heard from his friends that Kame and Ueda had become very close and that Ueda had help build Kame back up after Jin broke him down, Jin know wondered just how much rebuilding Ueda had done to Kame’s heart.
“Ne, Tat-chan I’m hungry, you wanna go get something to eat?” Junno asked--although his voice was casual, Jin couldn’t help but see the urgency in his eyes. Ueda nodded, giving Kame an evaluating glance before allowing Junno to lead him out. Jin made a mental note to get Junno alone before he left again. He returned his eyes to Kame, the whole reason he was here, he attempted to break the ice.
“What, your not going to welcome me home?” Jin asked jokingly. Kame continued to stare at the wall, making no indication of to move or get ready to talk; Jin pressed on. “I know we haven’t been on the best terms while I was gone, but could you at least look me in the eye while I’m here?” Kame turned his gaze on to Jin, hitting him full force with all the emotion he could force into them. Jin had forgotten how powerful Kame’s eyes could be: t was one of those things that the camera could never capture, something that only he had seen of Kame. “Kame… I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have left you like that its just that….I didn’t… I didn’t know how to tell you, any of you, so I let Johnny-san do it and I just left. I knew that if I would have seen you before I left I wouldn’t have gone, I would’ve stayed, and I didn’t want to stay. I’m selfish Kame, and I know it, and I want you to forgive me. I love you and I need you and I want you to forgive me. Please.” Kame just kept staring at him, his eyes turned thoughtful and Jin could see the tears forming within them. He wanted to pull the younger into his arms but he knew better; when Kame was like this it was best to let him think things out. A few more awkwardly quiet moments passed by before the silence was broken.
“Jin?” It was like music all over again, memories of nights long spent, Kame singing his name rushed back. “Jin, what makes you think you deserve forgiveness?” The question was completely honest. He heard the pain in Kame’s voice, the pain that he had caused. The thought made him cringe. Yet, Kame was still waiting for an answer, but the truth was he didn’t deserve forgiveness, with a heavy heart he answered.
“I don’t” he answered honestly.
“So then why should I forgive you?”Jin could see Kame’s eyes searching for an answer within his, he could only come up with one.
“ I want to say you should forgive me because you love me, because I love you, because we were made for each other, but the truth is you shouldn’t. Kame, you’re the best thing that ever happened to me and you not forgiving me would mean that I’ve lost you, and that’s the worst thing that could ever happen to me. Please. Kame I’m begging you, I know it’ll be hard but please don’t take your love away from me.” They were both crying now, tears dancing down somber faces as they both searched for a way to make things right. Jin embraced Kame seeking and giving comfort at the same time. “You deserve so much more than I can give you, but I’m too selfish to ever let you go”,the older sobbed into the younger’s ear.
“Shhh love, I’m not going anywhere” Kame reassured Jin “To be honest, I couldn’t hate you if I wanted to. I love you Jin. I’ve loved you everyday that you were away from me and its been killing me” Jin pulled Kame in for an intense kiss, losing himself in the younger’s lips. It was like the first time all over again, every touch, every kiss, every sound the younger made was like a new discovery to Jin’s ears and the same for Kame. It wasn’t long before clothes were shed, flung across the room carelessly. Kame took his time rediscovering Jin’s body, kissing along his neck, his arms, his stomach and down to his stiff member. Jin looked down at Kame urging him to continue, running his fingers through his hair carefully. He then felt the warmth envelop him, take him over completely. It had been so long since he had been close like this with anyone; after a short amount of time Jin was ready to bust.
“Hey minna, did I leave my OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Koki screamed, covering his eyes with his hand like a child. Kame snapped up immediately putting on his clothes in record time and, throwing some clothes Jin’s way, told the older to meet him later and ran. Koki still stood in the door his eyes in a daze.
“You couldn’t have waited a little longer before you came in”, Jin huffed while putting his pants on.
“I, ano, well anooo I think I’m going to go home now and sanitize my eyes with bleach” the shorter said, running from Jin as if he was diseased. Jin just gathered the rest of his things and left, heading for Kame’s place.

Kame walked up to his apartment with his head spinning. 'How did I go from being furious with Jin to unzipping his pants with my teeth?' Kame vowed to himself a long time ago that if Jin ever came back, they would not get back together, and yet...he couldn’t help but find himself feeling compelled to take the older back in. Kame was reaching for his keys when he noticed someone sitting with their head down by his door. Kame stopped in his tracks knowing that whatever happened next depended on how his meeting with Ueda went.
“Is it true?” The question caught Kame off guard, he had no clue what Ueda was talking about. Ueda must have seen the confusion on his face because he cleared his throat and asked his second question. “Is what Koki saw……are you and Jin….”
“Come inside, I’ll make you some coffee” Kame said as he unlocked the door and went inside, the older following him in. The air hung with the question left unasked as the couple moved through the house, hyper-aware of each other's presence. Kame set two mugs on the table and sat across from Ueda, the other not meeting his eyes. Kame had thought about all the times he and Ueda ended up in the same exact spots after passion-filled nights. Ueda had been there for Kame in his darkest hour, and the bonds formed from that time could never be broken.Kame would always need Ueda and if ever Ueda needed him, Kame would be there.
“Kame?” Right now Ueda needed answers.
“I don’t know what happened between Jin and I; he wants to start over, he wants me to forgive him."
“He left you"; Ueda was staring at him now, eyes wide with anger, pain, and disbelief, his fists clenched. Kame reached for one of those hands with his own. “ Kame, please tell me if what we have….is it strong enough….can we survive? Am I about to lose you?” Any resolve Kame had built up was gone as Ueda began to cry silently, Kame crossed the small space quickly and gathered the elder into his arms. It was very rare for Ueda to cry, and if he were to do so it would only be in the company of someone he trusted wholly.
“Ueda, I LOVE him.”
“Let me go” Ueda pushed away Kame’s arms and made his way for the door. Kame ran for him pulling him back, wrapping his arms around the older.
“Don’t go, YOU PROMISED YOU’D NEVER LEAVE ME!”
“You don’t need me now, you have HIM why don’t ?! You just be happy with him now!”
“That’s not fair! You have HIM and I never yelled or screamed about it! I FUCKING STAYED, JUST LIKE YOU PROMISED TO DO!!!!!
“YOU CAME TO ME, YOU’RE THE ONE WHO WANTED MY HELP, YOU’RE THE ONE THAT MADE ME LOVE. HOW COULD I HAVE FOUGHT AGAINST THAT!! IT DOESN’T EVEN MATTER ANYMORE BECAUSE YOU LOVE HIM AND HES THE ONE YOU’LL SPEND YOUR NIGHT WITH, HE’S THE ONE THAT’S ALWAYS ON YOUR MIND, THERE WOULDN’T HAD BEEN AN US IF IT WEREN’T FOR HIM AND NOW YOUR GOING TO LEAVE ME………for him....” Ueda broke out in sobs sliding down to the floor, his chest was heaving and Kame held him as close as humanly possible. “Your going to leave me for him because you love him more, you always have.”
“I love you both”, Kame sobbed dejectedly. “I can’t help it, the same way you love Junno and I, I love you and Jin ,and it hurts because in loving both of you it hurts both of you and I don’t want that."
“Well what do we do now? I don’t want it to be over, I feel like we just begun.” Ueda wiped the tears from the younger’s eyes, kissing his cheeks.
“I don’t want to lose you either, but this secret is getting too big to keep.But.... I’m willing to work for us.” Kame placed a kiss upon the elder’s forehead, moving down to his nose and then his lips. All was lost after that, they sat on the floor for a countless amount of time just kissing each other warm, plump lips meeting soft, sensual ones fingers traveling all over,just brushing by,never stopping in one place. This was how it was with them: intimate without going all the way. Sweet, caring and loving.
*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK*
“Ignore it”, Kame said kissing along the other chin.

“Oh shit, get up!” the older whispered urgently as he tried to untangle his body from the younger’s, causing them to both fall.
"Kame, are you alright?” Jin asked from outside the door.
“I’M FIIIINE” the boy answered as Ueda made is way to the couch trying to look as casual as possible, while Kame opened the door.
“Hey” he greeted the gorgeous man standing in doorway.
“Hey yourself, can I come in?” Jin asked, even though he knew the answer. The other smiled at him moving aside so the older could step through; Jin was surprised to find Ueda on the couch in Kame’s living room watching something on the TV.
“Hey Ueda, when did you get here?”
“Nani? Oh I got here earlier, Kame and I were watching Tada Kimi wo Aishiteru” Ueda said smiling.
“Is that why both you have puffy, red eyes?” Jin asked. Both men looked at each other studying each other carefully. Kame made a gesture while Jin’s back was turned and Ueda knew it was time to go.
“Yeah Jin, but the movie's over so I’m gonna head home”, Ueda stood up stretching. Jin was always amazed by the boxer’s toned body; he took time to study it as the shirt moved up, revealing some serious abs and a slight view of Joe Boxers. “Later Jin”, he said as he moved to the door, putting on his shoes.
“Alright Ueda. You, me, Kame, and Junno should all go out together since I‘m here.”
“What about Koki and Nakamaru?” Kame interjected, not wanting to leaving any of his bandmates out.
“They can come out with us another time, I want this to be like a double date.” The eldest widened his eyes in shock for a moment, looking back and forth between him and Kame before finally answering.
“Sure, I‘ll talk to Junno and get back to you on it tomorrow.” He nodded before yelling “Oyasumi” over his shoulder and walking out of the door. Jin was glad to find out that Taguchi and Ueda were still together, but that didn’t help him figure out why Ueda had looked so heartbroken when he saw Jin. Was Ueda secretly in love with Jin or something? And something about the face Ueda and Kame made when Jin said "double date" made Jin feel suspicious, especially considering the reactions of Junno and Ueda earlier. Jin reminded himself that Taguchi had some explaining to do about the relationship between Ueda and Kame after their double date.

It wasn’t until the midnight that Ueda got home, only to find Junno
patiently waiting for him once again. After the events of the day , Ueda was too tired to even try to come up with an excuse for arriving home so late.
“Tadaima” he said taking off his shoes.
“Okaeri, where were you all day? I wanted to show you something!”
“I went to Kame’s house.”
“Hounto ni!” Junno quickly wrapped is arms around his lover, shocking Ueda with his action. “Are you okay?”, he asked, pulling away and looking Ueda in the eyes. It was a general rule that you couldn’t predict exactly what would come out of Junnosuke’s mouth, but this just threw Ueda completely off.
“Nan-nani? Ueda spurted suddenly afraid; did Junno know something about Kame and Ueda? The look on Junno’s face made Ueda think so but he wasn’t sure. Ueda watched as Junno tried to control his expression, opening his mouth to speak.
“Well you seemed really upset earlier, I figured you were worried about Kame, and you have tear stains on you face”, Junno responded, tracing the tear paths down Ueda’s face. Ueda looked at his lover as if he was truly seeing him for the first time. He was biting his lip the way he always did when he was thinking about something really important. Junno’s eyes were filled with concern-- but there was also a wall there. When had that happened? Was Junno keeping a secret from him, was it something bad? Ueda began to panic mentally, but he realized Junno was still waiting for an answer from him. but what was he supposed to say? ‘I’m fine, just had to make sure that my affair wasn’t over?’ No way. “Is this about Jin coming back? Are you worried that someone’s going to get hurt again?”
“Kame says that he loves him and I understand that but I don’t want him to get hurt again. I mean, you said yourself that he was finally starting to get better and now that Jin’s back...I’m just afraid that something bad will happen again”, Ueda answered truthfully. He was worried something bad would happen again, but Junno didn’t look like he was buying it. “I mea, how long is Jin even staying for, does anyone know?”. Junno shook his head, Jin hadn’t told anyone when or if he would be leaving as far as he knew. Taguchi took Ueda’s hand and guided him to the couch, sitting the older on his lap.
“Well baby, love is a powerful thing, trust me” Junno answered wrapping his arms around Ueda.
“I do trust you, I just don’t understand Kame’s heart.” The older boypouted.
“I do.”
“How?” Ueda asked turning to face his love; the younger seemed to stop and consider it for a while searching for the right words, not speaking until he found them.
“Well...I think that no matter how much pain or suffering or trouble someone you love causes you, you’ll always love them. When I think of us I truly believe this. Like...if you ever did something horrible to me...I wouldn’t be able to stop loving you. No matter how much pain I felt or how much you lied to me, or even if you just ignored me and took all of your love away....well...I would still love you.” Junno smiled staring off into space. Ueda felt his heart clench. Even as Junno smiled there seemed to be sorrow in his eyes, a sorrow Ueda wanted to permanently wash away. Ueda kissed Junno lightly, surprising the other and causing him to gasp.
“I don’t deserve you”, Ueda whispered against Junno’s lips, grasping his shirt tightly. Junno buried his face in Ueda’s hair trying to hide the tears that were now forming in his eyes.
“Don’t be silly. You deserve the universe and far, far more, and I will give it to you”. Ueda tried to answer but ended up yawning instead. The day had been very tiring both emotionally and physically, and both men were starting to feel it. “Come on love, lets get you into bed before you pass out.” Junno scooped an already-sleeping Ueda into his arms and carried him to their room, removing his clothes and putting him to bed. Junno laid down next to his lover. 'He looks so peaceful while he was sleeping', Taguchi thought. There were many dark things plaguing his lover’s mind, but he knew better than to ask. Taguchi learned a long time ago that sometimes it was better to turn a blind eye and a deaf ear to some things, that secrets were sometimes good between lovers. He looked over at his angel one more time before falling into a deep, dreamless sleep.

“YOU CAME TO ME, YOU’RE THE ONE WHO WANTED MY HELP, YOU’RE THE ONE THAT MADE ME LOVE. HOW COULD I HAVE FOUGHT AGAINST THAT!! IT DOESN’T EVEN MATTER ANYMORE BECAUSE YOU LOVE HIM AND HES THE ONE YOU’LL SPEND YOUR NIGHT WITH, HE’S THE ONE THAT’S ALWAYS ON YOUR MIND, THERE WOULDN’T HAD BEEN AN US IF IT WEREN’T FOR HIM AND NOW YOUR GOING TO LEAVE ME………for him....” Ueda broke out in sobs sliding down to the floor, his chest was heaving and Kame held him as close as humanly possible. “Your going to leave me for him because you love him more, you always have.”
“I love you both”, Kame sobbed dejectedly. “I can’t help it, the same way you love Junno and I, I love you and Jin ,and it hurts because in loving both of you it hurts both of you and I don’t want that."
“Well what do we do now? I don’t want it to be over, I feel like we just begun.” Ueda wiped the tears from the younger’s eyes, kissing his cheeks.
“I don’t want to lose you either, but this secret is getting too big to keep.But.... I’m willing to work for us.” Kame placed a kiss upon the elder’s forehead, moving down to his nose and then his lips. All was lost after that, they sat on the floor for a countless amount of time just kissing each other warm, plump lips meeting soft, sensual ones fingers traveling all over,just brushing by,never stopping in one place. This was how it was with them: intimate without going all the way. Sweet, caring and loving.

“Ignore it”, Kame said kissing along the other chin.

“They’ll go away.”

“Kame its me, Jin."
“Oh shit, get up!” the older whispered urgently as he tried to untangle his body from the younger’s, causing them to both fall.
"Kame, are you alright?” Jin asked from outside the door.
“I’M FIIIINE” the boy answered as Ueda made is way to the couch trying to look as casual as possible, while Kame opened the door.
“Hey” he greeted the gorgeous man standing in doorway.
“Hey yourself, can I come in?” Jin asked, even though he knew the answer. The other smiled at him moving aside so the older could step through; Jin was surprised to find Ueda on the couch in Kame’s living room watching something on the TV.
“Hey Ueda, when did you get here?”
“Nani? Oh I got here earlier, Kame and I were watching Tada Kimi wo Aishiteru” Ueda said smiling.
“Is that why both you have puffy, red eyes?” Jin asked. Both men looked at each other studying each other carefully. Kame made a gesture while Jin’s back was turned and Ueda knew it was time to go.
“Yeah Jin, but the movie's over so I’m gonna head home”, Ueda stood up stretching. Jin was always amazed by the boxer’s toned body; he took time to study it as the shirt moved up, revealing some serious abs and a slight view of Joe Boxers. “Later Jin”, he said as he moved to the door, putting on his shoes.
“Alright Ueda. You, me, Kame, and Junno should all go out together since I‘m here.”
“What about Koki and Nakamaru?” Kame interjected, not wanting to leaving any of his bandmates out.
“They can come out with us another time, I want this to be like a double date.” The eldest widened his eyes in shock for a moment, looking back and forth between him and Kame before finally answering.
“Sure, I‘ll talk to Junno and get back to you on it tomorrow.” He nodded before yelling “Oyasumi” over his shoulder and walking out of the door. Jin was glad to find out that Taguchi and Ueda were still together, but that didn’t help him figure out why Ueda had looked so heartbroken when he saw Jin. Was Ueda secretly in love with Jin or something? And something about the face Ueda and Kame made when Jin said "double date" made Jin feel suspicious, especially considering the reactions of Junno and Ueda earlier. Jin reminded himself that Taguchi had some explaining to do about the relationship between Ueda and Kame after their double date.

It wasn’t until the midnight that Ueda got home, only to find Junno
patiently waiting for him once again. After the events of the day , Ueda was too tired to even try to come up with an excuse for arriving home so late.
“Tadaima” he said taking off his shoes.
“Okaeri, where were you all day? I wanted to show you something!”
“I went to Kame’s house.”
“Hounto ni!” Junno quickly wrapped is arms around his lover, shocking Ueda with his action. “Are you okay?”, he asked, pulling away and looking Ueda in the eyes. It was a general rule that you couldn’t predict exactly what would come out of Junnosuke’s mouth, but this just threw Ueda completely off.
“Nan-nani? Ueda spurted suddenly afraid; did Junno know something about Kame and Ueda? The look on Junno’s face made Ueda think so but he wasn’t sure. Ueda watched as Junno tried to control his expression, opening his mouth to speak.
“Well you seemed really upset earlier, I figured you were worried about Kame, and you have tear stains on you face”, Junno responded, tracing the tear paths down Ueda’s face. Ueda looked at his lover as if he was truly seeing him for the first time. He was biting his lip the way he always did when he was thinking about something really important. Junno’s eyes were filled with concern-- but there was also a wall there. When had that happened? Was Junno keeping a secret from him, was it something bad? Ueda began to panic mentally, but he realized Junno was still waiting for an answer from him. but what was he supposed to say? ‘I’m fine, just had to make sure that my affair wasn’t over?’ No way. “Is this about Jin coming back? Are you worried that someone’s going to get hurt again?”
“Kame says that he loves him and I understand that but I don’t want him to get hurt again. I mean, you said yourself that he was finally starting to get better and now that Jin’s back...I’m just afraid that something bad will happen again”, Ueda answered truthfully. He was worried something bad would happen again, but Junno didn’t look like he was buying it. “I mea, how long is Jin even staying for, does anyone know?”. Junno shook his head, Jin hadn’t told anyone when or if he would be leaving as far as he knew. Taguchi took Ueda’s hand and guided him to the couch, sitting the older on his lap.
“Well baby, love is a powerful thing, trust me” Junno answered wrapping his arms around Ueda.
“I do trust you, I just don’t understand Kame’s heart.” The older boypouted.
“I do.”
“How?” Ueda asked turning to face his love; the younger seemed to stop and consider it for a while searching for the right words, not speaking until he found them.
“Well...I think that no matter how much pain or suffering or trouble someone you love causes you, you’ll always love them. When I think of us I truly believe this. Like...if you ever did something horrible to me...I wouldn’t be able to stop loving you. No matter how much pain I felt or how much you lied to me, or even if you just ignored me and took all of your love away....well...I would still love you.” Junno smiled staring off into space. Ueda felt his heart clench. Even as Junno smiled there seemed to be sorrow in his eyes, a sorrow Ueda wanted to permanently wash away. Ueda kissed Junno lightly, surprising the other and causing him to gasp.
“I don’t deserve you”, Ueda whispered against Junno’s lips, grasping his shirt tightly. Junno buried his face in Ueda’s hair trying to hide the tears that were now forming in his eyes.
“Don’t be silly. You deserve the universe and far, far more, and I will give it to you”. Ueda tried to answer but ended up yawning instead. The day had been very tiring both emotionally and physically, and both men were starting to feel it. “Come on love, lets get you into bed before you pass out.” Junno scooped an already-sleeping Ueda into his arms and carried him to their room, removing his clothes and putting him to bed. Junno laid down next to his lover. 'He looks so peaceful while he was sleeping', Taguchi thought. There were many dark things plaguing his lover’s mind, but he knew better than to ask. Taguchi learned a long time ago that sometimes it was better to turn a blind eye and a deaf ear to some things, that secrets were sometimes good between lovers. He looked over at his angel one more time before falling into a deep, dreamless sleep.
