love at first sight
So I’ve never been an avid believer in “love at first sight”. But my boyfriend appears to believe this is the case, when he met me. I more so believe in “lust at first sight” than it being “love”. But anyway, just because I’m not an avid believer doesn’t mean its not real. It’s just the pessimist within me that’s displaying itself. Sigh…I think I’m too much of a pessimist at times hehe.
“it would be silly if I didn’t marry you”
So we were having a deep and meaningful conversation last night. We always do. I love it, because he’s quite the intelligent man and it’s great when we converse about our opinions. So we were talking about the whole concept of marriage. We weren’t talking about it with each other - just what we each individually, thought about it.
I had always thought that he wasn’t so into the whole marriage thing, because he dumped a handful (about 4) of his exes when they had proposed that they get engaged.
So, as we were just talking, he started giggling for no reason. I was a bit confused, and I asked him why he was so giggly. He then said, “I just think it’s cute, thinking of us being married”. And then he said, “just you know, if things keep going the way they have been, it would be silly if I didn’t marry you. I hope I’m going to be a good enough man for you”. He’s so so adorable! I was so touched that I was at a lost for words, and just gave him the biggest hug and kiss.
I never thought his love could be so beautiful.
