I just finished watching episode 4 of Hidarime Tantei EYE...
Oh. My. GOD. It's good. So good.
So the premise of the drama is this junior high kid (Ainousuke) gets a corneal transplant and now he can see images that the eye's owner had seen with the eye. The donor is his older brother Yumehito.
Ok, so Yumehito turns out to be Japan's best genius criminal mastermind, and the drama is basically about how Ainousuke tries to thwart Yumehito's plans.
What I like about it is that it is another good vs. evil plot. Those are my favorite! Ainousuke is so innocent and he thinks the world of Yumehito. They're relationship is so close and so loving. Then Yumehito turns out to be someone Aimousuke refuses to believe he could ever be. Yumehito toys with Ainousuke the whole time Ainousuke is trying to catch up. He really is no match for Yumehito. And that's what makes it so good.
The crimes are so intricate and well-planned, and it keeps me on the edge of my seat. Yumehito is so evil, but I think he has a little soft spot for Ainousuke.
And OMG, brothers battling against each other=AMAZING!!! This drama seriously just combines all the cliche things that I love into one big ball of awesome :)
SO yeah, that was a bit incoherent, but I really do recommend this drama if you like good vs. evil. I love it, so there really was no chance that I would NOT like this drama :) The fact that the two leads are played by Johnny's boys is just a bonus. And Ishihara Satomi(?) is the female lead, and I really like her too. So this drama is just awesome :)
