THE YEAR IN REVIEW - 2009 edition
Directions: Go through all this year's posts, take the first line from the first entry for each month, post it here and discuss!
January: Ok, so a couple of things. First, Happy 2009 everyone! Hopefully this will be a good year for you all :)
It was a half and half year for me again. It had good times (getting my license and car, going to NYC for the first time, etc), and it's bad (almost getting kicked out of my house, having to wake up at 4 every morning to bike to a minimum wage job, etc). But hopefully it was better for everyone else :)
February: All-in-all, today is a pretty good day for me.
I went on to talk about picking up sub applications and Stacy's bridal shower. February was kind of a blah month for me. I still didn't have a job, and i was just sitting around most of the time.
March: I'm feeling pretty under the weather, so I'm sorry if I haven't been around the past few days. I'll write about the wedding and everything soon enough :)
This was meme post. For the most part, March was more of the same as February =/
April: Tonight has been crazy!
This post was made after I started working at the Y, and before I started working at Stoppie. Actually, the post itself was written after work one day about how I got the job at Stoppie. Now, I'm glad I got the job. I'm glad I still have the job. But I need a better one. I need more money. But this post is still relevant in the fact that I still work there and I'm still happy to be making money :)
May: Nothing
June: I didn't realize how long it's been since I've written an entry... I blame Stoppie. Waking up at 4AM is really screwing with my internal clock. By the time I get home after work, half the time I end up crashing for 4 hours. But whatever.
I'm glad I've gotten off the 4 hour naps. Nuff said.
July: I just finished watching the first episode of Buzzer Beat. This series looks like it's going to be awesome! I can't wait for the next episode! Yamapi's acting has gotten better, I think, and there are a lot of other good actors in this series as well :)
And it was :) Actually, all three of the jdramas I watched that season were fantastic! It was a good season indeed. Can't say as much for the last one though =/
August: HOLY CRAP KOISHITE AKUMA IS GETTING SOOOOO GOOD XD
Again, the dramas that season were excellent, and I posted A LOT about them those 2 months XD
September: Kansai-ban, kansai-ben, kansai-ben, KANSAI-BEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This had to do with the kid who played the main character in Koishite Akuma. In the drama he was from Tokyo, so when I saw an interview with him speaking Kansai-ben in real life, I flipped out. I'm a loser like that XD
October: Again, nothing.
November: As sad as it may be that it took me this long to do- I GOT MY LICENSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Exactly what it says. I have been so free since then. It's an amazing feeling, being able to go wherever I want to, whenever I want to, for the first time in my life. It took me a long time to get here, but I love it <3
December: Or at least a lot has happened since I last posted. Thanksgiving, New York with Nina, getting my car, getting comfortable driving on the highway, clubbing, thinking up and making Christmas gifts, and more!
This was the prologue to a rather lengthy update post near the end of the month.
