today is the day!
guesssssssssssssssssssss what? good morning by the way! today bill comes and i'm only a little bit super excited...ok alot! i'm pathetic! anyway...i got fun e'mails from whitney, jess, and mike hut (my licking buddy) this morning as well as a really nice one from my mom so all is well! it's always good to get fun e'mails especially when i woke up with a sore throat and bad cough this morning! shhhhhh...don't tell my dad cause he'll think i'm dying and overeact as usual!
let's see i don't really have much news to report! i'll just repeat myself and say that pampy was awesome as was the beach! wahoooo!
this weekend we're off to our neighbor to the west, good old portugal! i'm quite excited cause this is my first time out of spain since i've been in spain...ok so that did not really make sense but technically it's only 4:30am you US eastern people time so i'm excused...granted it's 10:30 here! oh well!
yesterday in conversation class we went to a bar and played the spanish version of kings! i love this class and this country! in what other class can you go to a bar with your teacher, do shots, have a few drinks and play a drinking game...all while the SCHOOL PAYS FOR IT! amazing! the OSU spanish dept should really think about adopting a strategy similar to this one...i would totally major in spanish and take more classes for sure!
let's see...last night sarah and i did laundry with our host family...quite the adventure! i looked out my window this AM and saw my undies hanging out to dry! hehe! they looked so cute from up above! i felt like God or something looking down and smiling upon my undies...ok so maybe no exactly like that. i'm special...go ahead and say it!
ok that's all the entertaining that i have for now! did i mention that anuja and i did handstands on the beach the other day in skirts! shady i know but i couldn't help myself! she made me do it! i love that girl! everyone i've met here is of course super nice and i reallllllllllly enjoy them and will have lots of people to hang out with this fall since bill and rachbear are leaving me but of course those that i met here don't compare to everyone that i left at home!
sarah and i are going to have fun dinners at her apt this fall...i'm super excited! it should be good times!
