My free day!

This morning started way too early, but has turned into a VERY lazy one. I was up at 6 am to take my sister to the airport. Then I went straight to my first ever water aerobics class! It was one of those deep water classes where you wear a little belt that barely keeps your head above water and then you do lots of strenuous exercise. It was quite fun, but really very hard. You have to understand that I am sooooo out of shape. I've never really regained my stamina since having a baby last December and getting pregnant again almost immediately. It's ridiculous how out of shape I am. I can get winded just bringing a load of laundry up the stairs. Very sad, I know. So, the class was fun, but I was the only person in it that was younger than 75. I'm amazed at how many old MEN and women were there!! It was actually very cute and they all kept asking me if I was sure I was in the right class. I hope I can figure out a way to go a few times a week. On the days that my hubby works, he leaves the house at 5:30 am and doesn't get home until 7:45 pm, so it will be hard to work out a schedule where I can do this regularly, but I've got to come up with something cause I want to get back into my cute clothes quickly after this baby is born. I'M SICK OF MATERNITY CLOTHES. I HATE THEM. THEY SUCK.

Anyway, after getting home from water aerobics, my husband informed me that today was MY DAY! He said that he would be in charge of the baby, and that we could hang out with them if we wanted, or he would take her and leave the house to me so that I could sleep or clean or do anything I wanted. So, I decided to clean up a little, but I've been doing so good at the FLYLADY stuff, that there's really not much to do. So, I've caught up on my friends' live journals, now I'm updating, and next I think I'll go take a little nap. I'm kind of liking this "free time!"

On the Flylady note...I'm not going over the top or anything. I basically just cleaned my house completely a few weeks ago and now I am just maintaining. I clean and scrub when it's needed, but mostly I just wipe down and disinfect frequently and I ALWAYS make sure that my dishes are done and my house is in order when I go to bed at night. By the end of this week, my goal is to completely gut and finish my kitchen. We've almost lived in this house for a year, and our kitchen cupboard doors have never been painted and reinstalled. So, I'm going to spend the week dejunking the kitchen, painting the cupboard doors, picking our new hardware and reinstalling them. That should make a HUGE difference in how clean my kitchen looks. It's frustrating to know that things are clean, but it doesn't look good because I can still see all the crap in there!! It feels so good to have the time to get to these crazy projects on my list!
