Dollar Dog night was a huge sucess. After tailgating in the parking lot and subsequently scarfing (scarf=technical term for eating 2 hotdogs in under 2 minutes) down said dogs we settled in for a few innings of the Philles v. Brewers game. There were some very exciting moments...including a few home runs. It was so fun to be out with a group of about 40 med students because you forget that your peers do anything but study. It was just nice to meet people and see everyone's real personality.
I'm a little anxious about my treatment tomorrow because the first time I had these drugs it made me feel sick. I think I'm going to go with the House, MD theory that if I don't think I will get sick then I won't. Hopefully that works. If not, there's always Zofran and Compazine.
Thanks to everyone who has sent me cards this week! I love them! Kate sent me a picture from the ho-down we had at her house last summer...oh, the memories :) And the Conways sent me a beautiful cancer awareness bracelet...I will post a picture of it soon! There are pictures from the Phillies game here...enjoy!
