Ticking Clock...

Alright so its 1:48 and I am totally wired. Why? Cuz I had a nap at 5. Probably not my wisest decision. Oh well. I did clean my room and do some work today though. I should probably be doing more. But I'd rather do this. So my projection for the World Series was close. The Astros didn't go to the World Series...I thought this was a bad sign for dubya but clearly it wasn't. However, the Red Sox did win the World Series bringing happiness to Boston and New England. Till Election Day that is. I knew it would be too good to be true. I honestly didn't think Kerry would win, but I had hope. I voted. I did my part. But America chose Bush. Its amazing how incredibly divided our country is right now. And amazing in a bad way. Its one extreme or the other. America seems to have lost its middle. The next four years are going to be extreme, but its something I have accepted. I hope they aren't too extreme though because we can't take any furthur division. A republican president and a congress I can accept. But its the thought of a ridiculously conservative supreme court that scares me. I look ahead though, to 2008. Where I hope for a Democratic candidate that can bring in a landslide victory, a congress that atleast is controlled by Dems in either the House or Senate, and a moderate Supreme Court that interprets the Constitution based on American ideals. But who will we chose in 08?
