saw farenheit 9/11 last friday - my birthday. i cried. who didn't?

i am reading your criticism of michael moore's xenophobia and homophobia and racism and i guess i'm not sure how i feel about a lot of what you're saying... seems to me that michael moore is significantly more uh tolerant and compassionate than you suggest.. while i would agree that he does not appear to ride on the fringes of radical counterculture in every respect, i think a lot of the generalizing he does that could be taken as ignorance or disrespect is aimed at a public that would be totally alienated by a more progressive vocabulary or political language; considering the guy's overwhelming commitment to human beings in general, it's hard for me to believe that he's perpetuating white nationalism... maybe there's specific evidence of this out there, but i am really suspect of folks who would pick such a uh meaty bone with a michael moore... of all the people to get down on, he is not a particularly well chosen target or anywhere near the genre of american citizens who exploit xenophobia to commit acts of war... i guess i'd like to know where you're coming from in highlighting your grievances against this person; maybe you can point me somewhere to read something about it... i'm not saying you're wrong, obviously, but sometimes i feel like people in the "radical" community go after well intentioned, largely constructive people or movements that sit a BIT closer to the center just to elevate their own sense of revolutionary grandeur.... this does not mean i think you are doing this, but i have to admit i am a little skeptical of such scathing criticism of somebody that i kind of admire for his ability to translate abstract ideology into physical change..
what you think?
