(no subject)
So after choir today i went and hung out with Mariel in my car for a while just talking and i thought we had a real good connection. We were just talking about music and life and things of that nature. It was really nice and it looked like she had a thing for me. Like we locked eyes a bunch smiled a lot blah, blah, blah.
She had to go and left out of my car gave me a really long hug and we both went into our cars. I then decided it was a good idea to be "Rico Suave" and ask her for a kiss. So i walk over and say "Can i give you a kiss." She concedes and i give her a peck on the cheek and on her hand (by her request).
I the get into my car and drive off. I later get a phone call of Mariel saying that she apologizes for having me think that we were just more than friends and said she is not ready for an "affectionate relationship" at the moment.
tl;dr
I feel like crap about it but i understand her situation and accept that she doesn't want to be more than friends "yet".
At least i can go away at this attempt for a relationship in a positive way. For example my confidence and self esteem skills are higher and im learning that its not the end of the world if a girl doesn't want to have something more of a relationship.
Oh well. Back to square one.
