Happy Friday!
Hooray, it's the end of the week! After the last weeks 3-day work week I thought this week would never end. But here we are! Yay!
This weekend looks like some dog-sitting for a friend, taking Candice the wonder-pup up to adoption day on Saturday, cleaning and organizing the house, and maybe getting to do some cooking (yay!).
I ordered my cutesy slightly overpriced reusable shopping bags, so that's one strike off of my new year's to do list. I've been feeling increasinly guilty every time I go to a store and the cashier hands me a plastic bag. (I know, I'm weird) Our kitchen supply of plastic bags has also officially outgrown its container, which makes for more mess (very bad).
I'm missing out on the South Carolina trip . :-( But this way we can save up and go to the zoo/aquarium/whatever in a few months when Court and her family comes to visit. Maybe I'll knit Landon a blanket to make up for it. (But don't be holding your breath for any cute little Berry babies running around any time soon!)
As to that special feminine gift I was blessed with this week; it's almost over, and it looks like I could be pain free for the remainder of it. So I may have gotten 1/3 of the periods I had before, but it feels like my body made up for it by giving me about twice as many cramps. (and really killer headaches, too!) (Sorry again for TMI, guys)
Oh, the second episode of Miss America: Reality Check is coming on tonight, so I may veg out and watch that ( yesterday was Ramsay's kitchen Nightmare night ) After last night's rather disappointing sauteed red cabbage I'm not sure what I'll do for dinner tonight. I think I'll convince Phi to make up some tasty bread and we can make the Cannelini bruschetta for tomorrow.
