My darling Ed was on DT, and I was on bar. DT customer orders a small white mocha.
Ed: Okay, a tall white mocha, your total is ----, come on up to the window!
Customer: No, I asked for a small. That's S-M-A-L-L.
Me: Oh no he did not!
Yes he did. He SPELLED IT FOR US. Fortunately Ed, who has been known to shriek and cackle when amused, managed to hold it together long enough to explain that "tall" and "S-M-A-L-L" are the same thing.
