My mother informed me the other day that she has booked us tickets to Krakow for a few days in August and she is paying for the lot. Eastern Europe is great like that - her holiday pay covers air fares and fancy hotel rooms for her, my sister and myself with enough to spare to live comfortably while we're there. Free holiday, sweet! A similar weekend trip to London would have cost almost twice as much for just one person. And Krakow sounds like more of an adventure.
The migraine monster hit me over the head this morning, preventing me from doing the things I really need to do. I need to find my way to Manpower, but they have two addresses listed in Christchurch. I presume I'm going to the regular office and not Manpower Professional. But my system is currently a bit too full of various substances for me to feel confident riding my scooter anywhere (not to mention sounding coherent to the people who hopefully will find me a job), so it might have to wait until tomorrow.
The weekend was very eventful. I was not at the Survivor party because of a very fancy and enjoyable dinner engagement, but by the sounds of things, it was a great party. I do hope both silly KAOS events and fancy dinner engagements will happen again.
Today was supposed to be my day of Getting Stuff Done, and I'm hating the lack of productivity so far. I think I'm going to have to rummage through the house and garage for things to sell on TradeMe, just to feel like I'm doing something to bring in the dosh.
