Passed my entrance exams, and I'm finally enrolled in all of my classes. I get to take my world music class, which made my day/week/month.....I'm a geek, I know. I didn't make the university orchestra, but the good thing is that I'm second chair of their wind ensemble....which means I'm ranked about 5th/6th in the studio of about 20-ish. Most of the people in front of me are undergrads....I can live with that. Especially since the same thing happened to the DMA chick. Anyway, this year is all about taking the time to improve my playing, and thinking about what I want to do with my life. I'm working on a blog that's more parent friendly than this one...Ryan you would be proud!!! I have dreamweaver, but I've been editing the code by hand a lot.....it's just easier. Again, I know I'm a geek. Session was amazing last night just like last week. I'm gonna like it here I think. The people are nice, and things seem to be working out pretty well kharmically. I'm going to the slow session in a couple of hours. Everyone be safe in Mobile with the hurricane fast on its way. That's one thing you'll never get in Lubbock......hurricanes.
