I think it's more important that the effect be correct, rather than the proportions; for example, he has the capabilities of a vampire, including the turning into a collection of plushie bats that wing through the night, being able to enthrall individuals, extreme strength and speed, vulnerability to sunlight, running water, being staked through the chest, and, of course, the ability to turn other plushies into vampire thralls, doomed to subsist off of the stuffing of other plushies, liquifying it and sucking it in.
