Rant #2: It's YOUR fault!
So I haven't posted in a while, and my new post will be a manga rant?
Yes, this is another Fruits Basket Rant. >.< I will do my best to keep all spoilers out, and I will succeed. (Mainly because of a certain person who had procrastinated in the reading of this manga.) ((You know who you are.)) So this post is part rant part oll pictures, just to appease you people, and kind of thank you for reading my meaningless words... (Or you'll skip to the end... whatever.)
Have you ever thought of what your dolls think of the books you read/ And if they read them, who their favorite characters are? I've thought of it, and Shin actually really likes this series as well. And what do you know, his favorite character is also Yuki!! XD Sweet! He likes how Yuki's working through everything, and getting better. And he's glad he's found happiness. Loriens favorite is Hatsuharu, cause he punches things, and Alex likes Ayame... becasue of the obvious.
So yes, on with the show. I have been re-reading this manga over and over, desperatly waiting for the last two volumes to be released in America. Guh, it's a slow, painfull process... darn you Tokyopop. Anyway, I have officially decided that this is my favorite manga on my shelf.... Well, correction. My favorite completed manga on my shelf (I know it isn't completed, but I cheated and read it online because I couldn't stand the thought of -bleep- dying because -bleep- -bleeped- him in the back. I seriously nearly screamed.) Favorite on my shelf has to be Skip Beat,
ANYWAY!! Yes, i love this manga. And my favorite pairing is: Yuki&Machi. Seriously, she is so cute, and they are so freakin adorable together. I really like Machi, she is such a cool character. And (as I just said) Her and Yuki are SO CUTE!! Ah, I love the cuteness. Far better than he ever would have been with Tohru. (Crap, was that a spoiler? Well, if your not that far along, you... um... suck. >.< Or something.) So my favorite characters (in the Sohma family) are still as follows:
Yuki
Hatori
Kureno
Ah!! But I'm starying from the whole reason fro this rant. Yes, I HAVE FOUND OUT WHOSE FAULT ALL OF THIS CRAP IS!!! Who shall we blame for all the pain our characters have been through?
The Sohma hag/old woman.
You know, the one who kind of runs the Sohma family under Akito? That old, terrible woman? Yes, this is all her fault. It isn't Akito's mother's fault, it isn't Akito's fault, it's that STUPID OLD WOMAN!!! She's the one who does all the things that lead to Akito's screwed-up-ness. Which leads to everyone else's pain. Darn that woman.
But I really think this is a wonderful story, and in the end, everything makes so much sense and clicks together, that it makes everything wonderful. Man, if this didn't have a ahppy ending, I would have murdered someone. Or something... But I know it does, so I can sit back and enjoy the storyline and excellently laid out plot. ^^
So that rant wasn't as much of a rant as I thought it would be, but whatever. Here are the promised pictures. They're just some pictures I found while wading through the masses.
By the way, Alex is BITING him. there is nothing naughty going on in these pictures besides that.
And now some of you are like, Huh? Alex bit Lorien? How in the world did he manage that one? Well, this is suppose to be later, when Alex is out of Shin's conciousness and is whole again. Thsi is also suppose to be aroudn the time Michael starts messing with Alex's head (I'm sorry, some of you have no idea what I'm talking about... if anyone asks, I'll put up a post of what's suppose to happen in this story so far (AKA, if anyone cares). Anyway, Alex is disoriented and confused, and he doesn't bite people if he doesn't have to. But weeks of starving himself finally make him snap, and he attacks Lorien. Lorien knows he hasn't been eating, and kind of knows somethings wrong with him, so he allows it, because Lorien is much kinder than he lets on. (There's more to it than this, but if no one cares, why bother explaining? XD )
So yeah, NO, Alex and Lorien are NOT doing anything naughty.
