I saw John Mayer again last night, and he was incredible as always. Though I have to say he was even better this time than he was a year ago. Last year he played at a larger venue that's meant for huge bands like Coldplay, and it probably wasn't really his style to play there, so he wasn't as interactive with the audience at that concert. But last night he was really entertaining - he noticed girls wearing t-shirts asking him to play certain songs and then he joked that a lot of people we wearing shirts saying "Security", so he made up a song about the security guards on the spot, haha. And at one point he went off on a huge speech about how it must suck to be famous and talentless *coughthehillscough*. It was pretty hilarious.

And of course the music was mindblowing. I love how he would go off into five minute electric guitar solos. And how he changed the tune of the songs or just worked his amazing vocals. He took a 3 minute song off of an album and turned it into a 10 minute masterpiece. I have endless amounts of respect for this guy.

He also did some neat covers: Free Falling by Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Cross Road Blues by Eric Clapton & Cream (originally by Robert Johnson like a hella long time ago), and then he made up his own verse to Ain't Nobody's Business but Mine by I don't know who. Someday I would love to hear him do Keep it Loose, Keep it Tight by Amos Lee or Lover, You Should Have Come Over by Jeff Buckley.

Before the concert we went shopping around Queen & Yonge Street and I picked up a scarf and really comfy knit sweater from Urban Outfitters. Except I somehow pulled some threads on the sweater and now it's all ruined. :( I'm going to see if I can maybe return it. Also, I bought a sweater and t-shirt at the concert, but the t-shirt is too big, haha. I had bad luck with clothes yesterday.

I'll try to post pictures tomorrow!
