Yesterday was the best birthday I've had in a while. I've become used to expecting bad birthdays because that's how they usually turn out. And while this one started off on an okay note, it ended really well.

It started out in the morning, when mom made me a breakfast of croissants and fruit salad and had gone out to get me a chai tea latte from Starbucks. Mmm. Then I opened presents from my family. I got a Chi straightener, an iPod stereo system, a Chanel scarf, and a knock-off Chanel purse. I wasn't expecting a real Chanel purse, but I felt bad that my mom spent $150 on a really badly-made, falling apart knock-off. It's not worth it.

Anyways, school was pretty normal, but good. After though a bunch of us (Me, Josh, Allyson, Sonia, Andrew, Paula) went to see Pirates of the Caribbean 3. I'm still not sure what I thought of it because it was so confusing! I didn't know who was on who's side or what was going on, even. And it definitely didn't have as many funny one-liners as the first movie, although it still had its moments. I'd rate the eye candy 10/10 though! ;) And then Jess, Virgil, and Jill joined us for East Side Mario's, which was really fun. Jamie, Darren and Sean came, but there was no room at our table, so they left, haha.

After dinner we drove down to Spencer Smith Park, where Jamie and Sean joined us. We kind of just played around and talked. It wasn't anything spectacular, but it was nice just being with people. The best part of the night, by far, was when Tyler, Derek, Richard, and Graeme came without me knowing and started playing "Happy Birthday" on their instruments right in the middle of the park. I had a blond moment for a second and was like "Oh, cool, people are playing O Canada (what the heck, I know, right? They don't even sound the same)", but when I realized they were playing for me, I definitely started tearing up.

After all that, people started to leave so I hung out with Jamie and Sean for a while. I told them about POTC 3 and then we started pointing out shapes in the clouds around the moon, haha.

So overall it was a good day. :)
