Katja lend me her BBM CD yesterday. It was small enough to fit on my harddrive, so I copied it and afterwards promptly imported the file into Windows Movie Maker... to start a project I've thought about for weeks now.
I started about 5 pm and after four hours of hard work and much filthy language from my side, my very first own fan-vid was born.
I'm pretty proud of it, considering that
a) The original copy of the movie isn't even 500 MB big and therefore is not exactly High Quality
b) My PC is as slow as a slug
c) WMM is a bitch,
though I know it probably isn't even average. However, I'm satisfied with most of the cuts' timing (even more because my PC nearly killed itself everytime I tried to see the quicker cut parts, so I resigned to make them without rechecking) and the used scenes.
For anyone who's interested, contact me and I'll send you the file through YouSendIt. I haven't figured out yet how to set files up so everyone can download them.
And please don't be freaked by my choice of song. I know I should have shown some kind of taste in music and used a different one, but I heard the song two days after watching the movie for the first time and some of the scenes practically jumped into my mind. A director-bunny, so to speak. ^^" I just couldn't help myself.
