A hunter's star is, actually, a quilt pattern. Traditional quilt patterns are often old and chock-o-block full of symbolism that you never would've expected to find in something so Granny-like. Check it out.

This song has an indefinable old and magical tone about it that I love - it reminds me of May Day, superstitions, and strange old traditions. I just couldn't not include it.
