here we go again
So I waited patiently, and now it has finally happened. I will now be working in a church that appears to be everything we ever wanted E's House to be. The only difference is, it is relatively influenced by the emerging church movement. Pretty exciting stuff. They know my life story, the good and the bad, and they still believe in me and my calling to ministry. There is a lot of accountability, some excellent mentorship, and it's the perfect opportunity to get a fresh start and a Masters of Divinity online at the same time. Also, it is right here in Holly, and people like Matt Ash know where my heart is for this city. So now I get to be one of those divorced progressive assistant pastors finding solace in a conservative congregation, being mentored by another progressive pastor. I am excited and prayerful.
