i got myself a new bike. the best part is that i was able to find one that worked for me at our local punk bike shop, and i didn't have to resort to giving my hard-earned cash to scheel's in the mall or some shit. now nik and i can finally ride together. hey joey, i saw bill c. at the bike shop and he didn't recognize me at all. i wonder if he's doing all right?
we hiked in the badlands yesterday. so gorgeous out there, i tell you. we climbed three humungoid buttes and got sunburnt, in february! we're gonna backpack through the badlands this summer. packing enough water is the major dilemma.
we hung out with jaime and lee sunday night. jaime's parents re-did their kitchen. the place is huge and is full of appliances and a coffee bar and everything you could ever shove into a kitchen. it'd be a shame if they never cooked in there, eh? just give me my stove and a freezer and a good knife and i'm all set.
and we saw "walk the line", which was pretty good.
