(no subject)
Hey guys, how has summer been treating you? Its been treating me fairly well. I've had the "grand" opportunity to run into Un Jin and Un Joo.(Wow..ummm I think thats how they're spelled) So anyway, I happened to be at Chuck-E-Cheese celebrating Brian's little cousin, David, birthday. And then, all of a sudden I see Un Jin. It was weird but what can you do. Then I see Un Joo and she barely acknowledges my existence. What have people told her? Hmmm. Whatever.
That has to be the most exciting part of my summer so far. I went to freaking Chuck-E-Cheese. What can you do? Oh, wait a gosh darn minute...I did do something else..I went to City Place with Brian and JR and we saw Madagascar. Shhh Don't tell my little sister, she'll flip.
So anyway, my best bud from Lake Worth is going away for six weeks. She got accepted to do this summer thing at Bethune-Cookman. SIX WHOLE WEEKS! Its scary. But I know she'll have a good time and shes going to hit me up on the phone once in a while..right?
Yesterday we had a "family" bar-b-que. My family and the Rodriguez family. It was fun but it was a little dampened by the rain. Nonetheless we all ate ribs, rice, and corn-on-the-cob. A decent summer time meal. We were going to light fireworks but could not because Brian's mom and dad had to work the next day. So they let Brian stay with the car.
Speaking of Brian and car, my little man has started driving!! He comes and visits me regularly or when he can manage to get the car. The thing is he never calls before he comes over. He surprises me. I mean thats a good, cool thing but what if one day I happen to be not here...Boy would that raise a stink!
Starting next week, or maybe its the week after, I'm going to a basketball camp. Which happens to be run by the head coach of Boyton Beach High Boys Basketball team. Coach Flaig (pronounced Flag) is a great guy. I've known him for several years and what basketball skills I have, have come from this fine educator. He's a great coach and is a dean at Boynton Beach High. I'm hoping, that and swimming will prevent me from becoming a big, fat lard over summer break. I guess we'll see come Puerto Rico time. I need to look good for those Puerto Rican beaches I'm going to be hitting. Sorry Puerto Rican fellas who were hoping to get a little glimpse of Janyll, Brian will be along for the ride. Wowzers!! LOL
I have successfully started a scrapbook of this year. I'm only to my party but I think before summer is over I'll be on to graduation or I'm hoping maybe even finished. We'll see.
