Claire-dog is showing her age....
Saturday I took all three dogs over to the training facility to work on obedience and agility. I switched out between the three, spending only about 5-10 minutes at a time with each dog while the others were in crates. We worked for about 2 hours total, at which point every one except Yuki was tired. Although I had Claire there to do obedience stuff, she really wanted to do agility, so I set the jumps low and worked her on that, too.
Yesterday we had a great hike with Lynn, for about 2 hours, and then I took Claire over to the fairgrounds to do a little obedience work. We have a trial coming up in a month and this was an opportunity to work at that site. We only worked for about 45 minutes, but combined with everything else we did this weekend, it was enough to completely wipe out my girl. She feel asleep in my office so hard that I actually left and went into the lab without her even noticing.
She's going to enjoy having a quiet day today, I suspect.
On the plus side, a tired dog is a good dog, and Claire's bad behavior is a rapidly disappearing.
