Rant Re: Supreme Court decision
This honestly disgusts me.

Not that it would make it any better, but they aren't even protesting because the soldiers are thought to be gay. They are protesting because America is tolerant of homosexuality and therefor God is punishing us by killing our soldiers who are away at war.
You know what? That is bullshit on so many levels, but let's break it down to a little logic, okay? First, our country isn't all that incredibly tolerant of homosexuality, so stick that in your ear. We don't burn people at the stake for sodomy anymore, but come on. Then, there are plenty of soldiers over there who are gay, count on it, but "God" isn't going around killing exclusively homosexual soldiers, is he? No. In World War I, the United States was only involved in the war for a little over a year and a half and we lost 16 MILLION soldiers in that time. By comparison, we have been involved in the war in Iraq for 8 years and as of May, 2010 only a little over 4,400 dead. So, in essence, our tolerance of homosexuality has increased and our war-related casualties have significantly decreased. YOUR LOGIC SUCKS.
I HATE religious fundamentalists of every single variety. They are not faithful, they are not good people, they are full of hate and using God to make that seem okay. You know what? God doesn't hate gay people, you hate gay people. Own it and shut up.
