I watched this for John Patrick Amedori, not even gonna lie about that. He's one of those actors that I wish was more popular so I could see more of him. I've been a fan since The Butterfly Effect and puberty treated him very well. He came out the other side looking fine. He was also the best part of this movie, which was entertaining but still hit you in the face with a fish levels of contrived and ridiculous. There were some excellent lines and some really great acting moments though, most of them JPA's, and in places it was just too cute. I think this is one of those rare cases where I honestly believe that the movie would have benefited a lot from a more positive ending. There were things I liked about it though. I like the exploration of the idea of self-fulfilling prophesies and free will. I liked the considerable age gap between the main character and her love interest. It's not Harold and Maud sized, but it's enough that I think it's pretty cool for going there. I liked that people got their hearts broken, just in this case, I think something should have been done to fix them all a little bit. There was some great dialog. Overall, I recommend it and give it ✩✩✩ out of 5.

Watch it on Netflix Finished my math test today and now I'm officially on spring break. Have to do a business online test tonight, then the parents pick me up tomorrow and I go home for some free time. Have art to do for
werewolfbigbang, need to write the ending and polish up my own
smallfandombang fic to post when I get back, and when all that's done, maybe I'll write something for one of the prompts over at
the_empty_pale. Or maybe I'll say fuck it all and watch a lot of daytime television on PBS. Who can say with me?
