Caught up on Sherlock

Watched them all and I think I might like the second series even better than the first. I love it. LOVE it. I hate that they only do them in threes, though. That seems a bit sadistic, really.

Irene Adler was awesome. Moriarty was AWESOME. And fucking batshit. Which I loved. This incarnation is probably my favorite Moriarty ever. It's not even a love to hate him kind of thing. I love to love him, he's wonderful. Hopefully not dead, though. The idea does depress me mightily. Oh, and Lestrade. I love Lestrade. I love how even though they bash you in the face with the Sherlock/John slashiness (♥) there is always other subtexts. Like Sherlock/Lestrade for serious. Which is hot, I think. I mean, okay so you're making up with the wife... Then why are you spending Christmas at 221 B Baker Street? Because you're lying. This is my personal canon. Fanon maybe? Whatever. Oh my god, and the slashiness of Sherlock/Moriarty is so not even subtext. I can see why there was such chemistry with Irene Adler. She was like Moriarty with boobies and lipstick, and maybe less homicidal leanings. I thought that whole dynamic was also oddly sweet. Yes, I know, I'm weird like that. Doesn't matter, I still think so.

I strongly suspect I'll be watching the series again. And maybe again. Later, of course.
