what a slow First Friday! there was like nobody out tonight. i went down to perihelion arts because they had a Mark Mothersbaugh show. when i got there amy, the gallery owner was totally bummed that it was so slow. then she asked if i wanted to talk to Mark Mothersbaugh on a live internet video thingy. i was like, "YAH!" so after a while of dinkin' with the internet connection and stuff i got on and was talking to Mark Mothersbaugh! it was weird, what do you talk about? my mind went blank, and i couldnt think of any devo trivia i wanted to know about i couldn't remember the names of my favorite pieces he had in the show. we ended up talking about random things, he was having a party in his house, his children were running all over yelling. i told him i had a little girl about the same age. that was about it. it was great talking to you Mr. Mark Mothersbaugh. but i didnt really get to talk about all that stuff you really wanted to know about if you knew you were talking to Mark Mothersbaugh and had time to prepare lots of juicy questions. oh well...
the good news is that he said he was working with DEVO and they had some projects in the works! very much looking forward to that. i hope they tour. he said someone in the band had stole his sleigh bells, the ones he used in all the wes anderson movies. how cool is that?
