I'm sure everyone knows that Mayor Ray Nagin will get his chance to bring about his "Chocolate City". He was elected by 52.3% of the vote. They deserve him. Only 38% of people registered voted. Some voted at election sites outside of New Orleans. Now when it's time for a Presidential election if you're not in the city where you live you can't vote unless you mailed in an absentee ballot, before the election, you can't say vote in Atlanta if you live in New Orleans. Correction are REGISTERED TO VOTE in New Orleans. Another thing, 38%, come on did only the people whom were bused in vote? 38% I blame the other 62% whether he turns out to destroy the city or fix it, EVERYONE that didn't vote is the problem. The Iraqi turn out was better and they were threatened with death for voting. Nagin might be a good mayor, I doubt it, from what I've seen he's a horrible mayor, but people that didn't vote that could whether for or against him should shut up about him by not voting they have lost the right to complain. I still retain my right to complain I vote every time it's legal to do so and I do it where I have a home.
