In awe

Feb 21, 2008 17:02

I made an order with The Knittery on the 19th of February. I didn't pay for priority mail, and I requested ball-winding on what I purchased, which they warned could take 2-3 working days. I didn't expect to see my order, realistically, until next week sometime.

I came home today, less than 48 hours after I placed the order in the first place, to find it waiting for me -- with a hand-written note on the invoice wishing me happy knitting! And jelly beans! With purple tissue paper and the note in a purple pen, which can never go wrong with me (perhaps she took her hint from the purple yarns I ordered?).

So pretty and lovely and now I have to resist abandoning the socks I'm working on and getting into this lovely yarn.

In short: after dealing with so many American internet companies and online yarn stores that took over 6 months to mail me my order (let alone for it to get here to Australia!), The Knittery firmly has my seal of approval in terms of customer service.

consumerism, yarn, the knittery
