OTHER THAN THAT...
Last night at about 2:48am the fire alarm in my building went off. Woke up in a rush and got ready.I found my mom's jewelry box, briefcase of all our important documents, her purse and her bills. Ignored the fact for a second that everyone in the building was rushing out and just laughed on how funny my mom knew what the most materialistic importance was to her. Got myjacket ready...got my cell, my wallet and my laptop. As we walk down the hallway & down the stairs, my heartbeat racing rapidly and my mind thinking about whether was this a real fire? or a prank. I mean,logically there's many youth's in this uilding who just decided to scare the shit out of everyone and pull down the emergency in case fire pull down tab. We got to the lobby and the super escorted us out the front lobby door. 30 mins later waiting outside in the freezing cold (mind you, this was one of the coldest nights we've had all winter). The fire men cameand it was coming from the 6th floor. A leakwent through the cracks and leaked onto the wires of the elevator. No fire, no gas ...water leaking. The night ended with my mom saying " Well, at least we had our first fire drill"...LMAO
