Watched both Bridget Jones's Diary movies yesterday. Wonderful hilariousness. I preferred the first one though, especially :

There was a woman in Ealing, who had a peculiar feeling, she lay on her back, and opened her crack, and pissed all over the ceiling.

*laughs like a fool* Hugh Grant really is funny. And ludicrously sexy. I love british accents...yum.

Anyway today since I had no idea what to do, mum told me that I could go to the shop with her. She works at this sort of expensive clothes store called Alfaro, and she came home for lunch. Anyway at first I thought it was gonna be a bit boring, but it turned out to be far from that. Her boss was coming 'round to leave this coat that a woman was gonna come over and buy and she was a bit stressed. And I could see why. When he did come over, eventually, he just sort of swooped in and inspected everything. He sort of put this CD holder in place and then he just sort of looked at me in a looking-y way whilst mom tried to make normal conversation. He then took his hand out. Now that I think of it it would have been fun toslap it, but anyway I shook it and he said : "Delighted to meet you" in this official voice, and I said : "Same here" though inside I was going..."Um....k". And then he went to check out this plant and asked my mom if it was there in the first place, in this ridiculously serious voice. My mom went all nervously...: "Well....no actually the men who did the display put it in there..." And then the man just started fiddling with so people could see it on the right display.

Honestly. Then he just left and and shook my hand again. Anyway thing is this woman ordered it from another Alfaro store and if she buys it it would be great for buisness (sp?? God I'm so pathetic). I was really angry because it turns out that all the coats have this sort of natural fur. One's are rabbits others foxes, and I was SO MAD!!!!!!! Fucking boss. Mom and I had an argument.
Me : "You do realise that they killed innocent animals to make some coats?"
Mom : "Well what do you want me to do? He buys them because people want them! Honestly, and there's no law either"
Me : Well people wouldn't want them if they stopped buying them. And that's no excuse, just because there's no law it doesn't mean people can do it!!! You can choose to buy it or not! *nearly shouting*
Mom : Look just please be polite, it would be great if she buys it and if she asks just say it's really nice.

There were some problems with the order at first. Mum thought she had made a mistake with the colour but after a few phone calls everything turned out Ok.Then after a bit the woman for the fur coat came in.I just said nothing. Though the woman was so nice though, she just couldn't decide between this long fur coat and the short one in black or brown. 1600 € for Christ's sake. In the end I just couldn't help but not butt in. I said that the long one was always going to be sort of elegant, but you could transform the short one if you wanted to by dressing classy or not. Then she said "She does have a point" all smiley. She bought the short one.

I was appalled all evening because loads of people who went in were checking out the semi-fur coats. Including this woman and her friend who turned out to be from New-York and looked like she had a stick up her ass and kept saying : "Come ON I need to get to work and her friend practically forced her into this semi-fur coat which turned out to be fox. Urgh. I then felt totally guilty because as I was putting the plastic bag over it after they left, I really felt like trying it on because it felt to cosy and warm and glamourous. But then I thought "No. Think dead fox. Dead fox". *Sighs*

I might just go back tomorrow. OH! I bought some t-shirts like those Polo ones for school at Benetton. Don't normally shop there but they're quite simple and nice.

They aired the final episode of Lost season 1. FINALLY! Won't say anything in case some of you haven't seen it yet (Venetia :P) but it is truly truly truly wonderful. *sighs*
