almost there.
a little less than three weeks left until spring semester will be officially over. i have a week off after that, then it's back to school for summer school.
i dont know if i mentioned that i finally switched to trimester. meaning, i will be officially done with college in december'08 instead of may'09. by February, I should be a Registered Nurse. Scary thought!
right now i am still taking in all the information that my professors and nurses feed into my head. pediatrics is fun; i love the kids. they're super cute and i just love hugging them and making them smile. OB is fun too; child birth is pretty exciting, but i bet it gets boring. for now, i don't think pediatrics or OB will be my specialty. i plan on working with adults first, and then after a few years, venture into peds when i am more comfortable with the whole nursing thing.
i will be preceptoring in Telemmetry. It's the unit in the hospital that specializes in HEART related problems. I am hoping to master all those heart medications, then after some experience, I will finally do Critical Care. I wanna work one on one with patients fresh from open heart surgeries... but that will take some time. that stuff needs special training.
it's only 10pm and i am so tired. my eyes are really mad at me right now. they wanna rest... ahah
