I've Missed You (Chapter 28/29)

Aug 10, 2011 21:38

A/N: I cried writing this tonight. I'm not sure if it was the emotion in the story( I've alaways been that one girl to cry at the end of a movie in the happy moments after all) or if it was the plain and simple fact that I have one more small chapter to write tommorow. I wanted to thank you all, each and every reader. Thank you again!

Adam’s POV
Over the past few weeks Adam had been slowly packing up his things and avoiding his aunt, knowing it was only a matter of days before she kicked him out. Although now, it seemed more likely that he would leave her, finally. She was a pain, Adam couldn’t even consider her family, she was more like an enemy now.

Kris and him had decided to tell her he was leaving together, on the last day, and that day was today. Adam couldn’t believe everything that had happened this year. His families death, reuniting with his old childhood friend, getting help, falling in love and now moving in together. He was ready to start his life with Kris.

Once all his boxes were packed, he looked at his empty room. While living here, he may not have liked it, but now it seemed like this house, this room was associated with many memories. Even if half of them were bad memories, they were still a part of Adam, a part he would never loose.

He brought his boxes down the stairs, one by one. He didn’t have that many, maybe 3 or 4 plus two suitcases but each and every single thing inside those boxes were precious to him. Things he couldn’t bear to leave behind.

As this was all happening his aunt watched silently from the kitchen, just sipping her coffee but never saying one word. Adam couldn’t read the expression on her face, but surely she was happy he was leaving, she never wanted him anyway. The only thing she cared about was what her so called friends thought about her, she didn’t care about family one bit, and she definitely showed Adam that.

Kris knocked on the door 10 minutes later, and was a bit surprised to see Adam’s aunt sitting there at the table. Never before had he seen her, but from what he knew about her he had no reason to ever want to see her.

“Hi baby, are you ready?” Kris spoke first. “Definitely” Adam smiled, the kind of smile that could only be explained as pure happiness, he just seemed radiating. The two boys kissed for a couple seconds before pulling away.

The look in Adam’s eyes was a scared one this time, and Kris already knew what it was about. He grabbed Adams hand and gave him a reassuring smile, after all, in just a few hours they would be at their house. Their own space, a place they shared and decorated and made memories in. He just couldn’t wait.

Adam walked towards his aunt, the brown haired boys hand entwined with his. Once in front of his aunt, she looked up but didn’t speak. “I’m leaving.” Adam stated. “Okay” his aunt replied, looking back down at the newspaper she was reading like she didn’t even care if Adam existed at all. This angered Kris, what kind of cold hearted person couldn’t feel at least a little bit of love to someone who was bound by blood to them? Adam’s aunt that’s who.

Adam cleared his throat before speaking again. “I’m moving in with my boyfriend Kris. Though we’re not on good terms, I just wanted to say goodbye and thank you for letting me stay here.” Adam smiled. It was a genuine smile. He really was thankful of it, his aunt could have kicked him out on his birthday, or even brought him to a foster home. But she didn’t, and although he had no respect for this lady, he was still grateful for her actions. “Just leave Adam” she sighed. “I don’t need a thank you.” she added coldly. That made Adam’s blood boil. “I was just trying to be nice, but whatever I’m leaving and don’t worry definitely not coming back.” He snapped, before grabbing Kris’s hand and walking back to the front door.

Once the two boys had gotten everything into the car and closed the doors, The blue eyed boy busted out crying. “I shouldn’t be crying Kris, but its just, that lady is so evil. I don’t know how were related.” Adam sobbed, luckily he didn’t wear any make up today. Kris pulled Adam into his arms, although it was sort of awkward considering they were in the car. “You have every right to cry Adam, today’s an emotional day. But now you can forget about that nasty old lady, and move on.” Kris assured. Adam smiled at the younger boy, he always knew just what to say.

“See! That’s the smile I’ve grown to love.” Kris teased, before kissing Adams lips. “You have every right to smile today too Addie, I mean we’re going to our house! We get to decorate it! Live, eat, breathe and sleep together. I can’t think of any other way I would want to spend the rest of my life.” Kris admitted with a grin. “Me either, I love you angel.” Adam grinned back, giving his boyfriends hand a squeeze as they started driving.

The house was in a nice neighbourhood. Close to their school, and a small shopping mall as well as a couple of clubs. The mall gave Adam an idea, a little thank you for Kris. He would plan something great. Something Kris would remember forever.

They pulled up to the driveway of a small bungalow. It was a cute house, perfect for a couple just starting off. It had red bricks and a black roof. The door was painted a gross brown colour, but Adam thought he could live with that even grow to love it.

He must have been staring out the window for minutes, because Kris finally spoke up. “Are you ready to get out of the car and see it?” he smiled, squeezing Adam’s hand in reassurance. “Yeah” Adam replied shocked. He didn’t know that seeing their new house would bring this much emotion upon him. He felt so, unusual. Fear, excitement, nervousness, happiness and sadness all ran around in his mind, but mostly he just wanted to cry. He had no idea why, but It just seemed right. He pushed back the tears and allowed a smile to form on his face. “Lets do it babe.” he breathed out as he left the car, and made the way up his drive way.

“Use your key.” Kris whispered once they had gotten to the front door. “What key?” Adam questioned seemingly confused. “The one around your neck silly.” Kris giggled at his boyfriend. “Oh yeah.” Adam remembered, unclasping the necklace from around his neck and sticking it into the key hole. He loved that Kris wanted to live with him so long ago he got the key made for his birthday, it made Adam smile each and every time he looked down at the key.

They stepped inside of the foyer and got silent. Adam began to feel tears well up in his eyes as he looked around. This whole place was his, theirs. It seemed so empty now, but Adam knew in just a few days time the place would be full of little knickknacks and stuff the boys owned. It wouldn’t smell like dust but rather a mix of Adam’s hair products and Kris’s cooking.

Adam looked over at his boyfriend, his angel and saw a tear streaming down his face. See his boyfriend cry overwhelmed him and he began to also let his tears flow. Both boys were crying happy tears. It seemed as if this was only a dream, not reality. They each couldn’t believe they were here, together. Spending life together, forever.

Adam walked behind Kris, wrapping his arms around the brown haired boys waist but continued to cry not believing he was spending this moment with the person he loved most. Kris turned around now, to face Adam. His face was a mess, red, puffy and wet but to Adam, Kris was so beautiful right now. His emotions were put on display, and the look in his eyes was crystal clear as he grabbed onto Adam’s shirt and tugged the two crying boys together in a passionate kiss.

This kiss seemed to hold so many promises, so much passion as they both held onto each other for what seemed like life. After a few minutes they pulled away and just looked into each others eyes before breaking out into a smile.

Adam was the first to speak. “That was our first kiss in our new house.” he giggled, now seemingly giddy. “The first of many.” Kris smiled back, pecking Adam on the lips. “I think I’m going to like it here.” Adam announced loudly. “Me too.” Kristopher agreed before grabbing Adam’s hand to show him the rest of the house.

The kitchen was small and so was the dining room, but for two, it was the perfect size. Adam’s favourite part of the house was their back garden. Looking at it made him think of children. He knew they were far a head in the future, if Kris even wanted them but he couldn’t help but think about little mini versions of them running around the yard as Kris strummed on his guitar, and Adam tended to the garden and plants. It all just seemed so perfect.

“What are you thinking of?” Kris asked, wrapping his arms around his boyfriend waist as he looked out into the yard. “Just about us.” Adam smiled. “What about us?” Kris asked again. “About how I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life making memories with you angel.” Adam said smiling down at Kris.

The look in Kris’s eyes was a look of pure passion and love. For some reason it turned Adam on. “I want to make another memory with you Krissy.” Adam smirked, turning around and pulling Kris closer to him by his belt loops until they were both touching. This time it was Kris’s turn to smirk. “Oh? What kind of memory?” he said innocently. “You know the kind.” Adam growled, licking at Kris’s ear. “I think you have to tell me.” Kris spoke again, faking a very confused look. “I want us to go up to our bedroom, and I want you on our bed, spread out underneath me, moaning as loud as we want for each other. That’s the kind of memory I want to make right now Kris.” He growled. “Mmm fuck Adam, let’s go!” he practically moaned. Adam picked up Kris, so that the younger boys legs were wrapped around his waist and brought him upstairs as quick as he could.

“I think that had to be one of the best memories ever.” Kris said catching his breath as he laid in bed entwined with Adam. “Definitely” the blue eyed boy agreed. He couldn’t wait to make many, many more memories with Kris.

A couple of hours later, after a quick little nap and some more memory making the boys were hungry. But were shocked to see that they had forgotten the basics. Things such as food, towels and cleaning supplies were no where to be seen in their house. Adam made a mental note to go pick some up tomorrow. Instead the boys ordered in and enjoyed a romantic dinner in their bed, Adam’s new favourite place.

The boys spent the rest of the day making love, leaving unpacking until tomorrow. Right now they just wanted to be with each other skin on skin making memory after memory.

Adam laid in bed with Kris wrapped around him asleep. Although he was so tired, he had so much on his mind. But for once in his life it was all good, and he was proud of Kris and himself. He looked down at his loving boyfriend. Kris looked so peaceful as he slept with a smile on his cute little face. “I love you angel, I love you so much I can’t imagine life without you.” Adam whispered to his sleeping boyfriend. Kris just buried his head more into Adam’s chest and smiled. If he wasn’t too tired to speak he would have said the same words back, and made love to Adam once more tonight.
