Don't boughart that can...man.
It's officially winter to me now for two reasons:
- i can see my breath in the morning/night
- we just turned on the heater in our house for the first time (i don't know why, but i love that smell)
Portland was a lot of fun. The Oregonians are extremely nice. If you ever look lost or confused, there is always someone around offering help. I think I weirded one guy out when I said, "God, you guys are just so fucking nice here!". I meant it in a good way, but some people take my bluntness differently. Anyway...bought some clothes, looked at some beautiful (and cheap) houses, got drunk and hung out at Barnes & Noble, froze my ass off. A couple fun facts about Oregon: 1) No sales tax 2) It's illegal to pump your own gas. Good times all around.
I can't wait to get into the house and start buying stuff. I want to paint, get a big bed, buy a TV and DVD player, and get a fat orange goldfish in a little bowl.
