This meme's fun.. I like to peek into other people's computers.
Here's how it works:
1. Go to your desktop and press the Print Scrn key (located on the right side of the F12 key).
2.Open a graphics program (like Picture Manager, Paint, or Photoshop) and doing a Paste (CTRL + V). If you wish, you can “edit” the image before saving it.
3. Post the picture on your blog. You can also give a short explanation on the look of your desktop if you want. You can explain why you prefer such a look or why it is full of icons. Things like that.
4. Tag five of your friends and ask them to give you a Free View of their desktops as well.
(Or if you have a Mac, go to Applications, Utilities, Grab and then do a little Apple + Z.)

a short explanation. on my desktop, i was running windows xp until it decided to die on me and since i was no longer playing as many games on the desktop, i decided to reinstall linux. i should note about the ms windows icon in the upper right corner. i did install virtual box and windows xp so i could run quicken, and it's nice to have that sort of backup when there is no open source software solution for whatever the hell it is i'm trying to do.
i am plagued by simplicity and minimalism so i try and keep the icons on my screen to a minimum and prefer wallpapers that are not too busy. i just feel it's more aesthetically pleasing.
the screenshot of the laptop is actually a little old. i uninstalled baldur's gate, but everything else is the same.
