Shampoo Help

I'm hoping some lushies can help me out with this. So, I have been alternating between using my left over Ibiza Party shampoo (why did you take this away from me Lush?) and new! shampoo bar both of which worked very well for my somewhat thin and oily hair. I recently got blonde highlights put in for the first time. While my hair now feels drier than I'm used to after having just been washed with either of these shampoos, my hair is also getting oilier more quickly and it looks very weighted down even on the first day I shampoo it. It used to be that I could go 2-3 days between shampoos (a first after having switched to Lush products a few years ago) and now I feel the need to shampoo every day.

So, my question is, are these shampoos just drying my hair out too much post-highlights causing it to overproduce oil or is there something else going on? What shampoo would you recommend for me? I've been debating buying Marilyn for my hair which I used occasionally in the past and just doing hair treatments more often. I've also considered replacing American Cream (which I only use on the ends of my hair) with Veganese and using that on my scalp with the hopes that it won't get weighted down too much by the conditioner. Do you think any of these measures might help or work better/worse than switching shampoos?

advice: haircare, shampoo
