From my experience:

Coolaulin vs. Okra: I adore Coolaulin! It's been my go-to conditioner forever. Slightly dry, flyaway, fine hair on my end, and it added just enough weight and moisture to control the frizz and give me amazing shine and texture without weighing it down to much. Okra was more straight-up moisture for me. On another note, have you spent time with Jungle? I know a lot of folks used to really like the trick where you'd turn it into a creamy paste and let it set for a while. Some would even use it as a very light leave-in on super curly hair.

13 Rabbits vs SDM: I always found them to be quite a bit different. 13R feels 'warmer', with the spicy notes to it. Whereas SDM had a huge citrus punch. I enjoyed the coffee notes a lot, but have never really been a citrus fan. Spice vs. Fruit on those two.

Potion vs. Skin Sin: SS is straight up fruity cherries. I'm not a fruit girl, so that never worked for me, but I know people for whom it was the best thing ever. But definitely fruity. I like Potion, but people are right. It's a very spicy floral. Carnation is strange like that. Not so much a fruit note to it at all. I, too, am a huge fan of woodsy, earthy scents, and I actually used Handy Gurugu as an extremely moisturizing body lotion in the winter. A little bit goes a LONG way, so I was surprised by how long it would actually last.
