Candles?

I got a Lust candle with the xmas ming hatbox and I'm really in love with it. I think  I saw candles on the website before it was taken down but I don't remember clearly. Can you buy candles through Lush?

new products, lush uk

You used to be able to, but they were quickly discontinued. They were only available for a short period of time... Maybe like, two months? They were REALLY expensive. Supposedly, they're being reformulated. But we'll see.

I don't even entirely remember what was wrong with them, so hopefully someone else can clarify. I think maybe it had something to do with them burning too quickly?

They burnt really weirdly and were a fire hazard, from the look of things on the forum. If you burn yours I'd put it in a glass jar, because there's been reports of the entire thing collapsing and spilling hot wax everywhere. :S

A lot of people are cutting them up and using them as wax melts in oil burners, from what I read.

Yup as mentioned already, they were labeled as a fire hazard so lush got rid of them for now, I'm sort of surprised they ended up in the forum 'ming' boxes but as long as your careful with it you should be alright.

:) Glass jar definately a good idea
