Ultrabalm for Healing Tattoos

Jan 03, 2011 00:24

Hi folks, I was wondering if anyone on here has tried using Ultrabalm for tattoo aftercare.

I am (finally!) getting my next tattoo on Tuesday, and I am fresh out of Tattoo Goo, which has been my go-to aftercare product for my last couple pieces. In the past I have noticed that my skin seems to respond best to balms rather than lotions during the healing process, and I was thinking that my tin of Ultrabalm might be a good replacement. Has anyone tried this? I have started to use it as an occasional moisturizer on my existing tattoos, and the result is more or less the same as the Goo, but of course, that has not given me any insight regarding healing of new ones.

Alternatively, if you've had success with healing tattoos and other Lush products, let me know. I believe I used some Lemony Flutter on my last one, after the initial healing process was complete-- really made the colours vibrant.

Thanks!
