Hello all!
I'm new to the community and also a lush newbie sort of...
I discovered Lush by recommendation of a friend. I suppose the gift card that came with that didn't hurt any either. :-)
Anyway, my uses of their products have been limited to shower gels and jellies, shampoo and conditioner, and Sympathy for the skin. :-D
I tried Lush in the middle of summer, so baths involving a nice soak in the tub were out of the question with temps in the 100's. LOL!
so, I am a bath bomb/bath melt/bubble bar virgin.
My questions:
I'm sure this is a preference thing, but I'm curious anyway. do you all tend to prefer bath melts used with a bath bomb or by themselves? Or, is either a bath bomb or bubble bar in the tub enough?
Also, (and again, I totally get that everyone's body will react differently to stuff,) but I'm curious anyway: I've noticed that the holiday line of products seems to have (some of them) cinnamon and/or ginger in them. I have never had a reaction to any bath or shower products, but I've also heard that those particular things can cause them; and honestly, I've never used a product to my knowledge that contained cinnamon or ginger; or come to think of it, cloves. (I think if I remember what I read, that Karma contains those...)
I'm wondering if any of you have had reactions to any of these ingredients in the lush bath products? BTW: I did look through the tags before asking this question, and I might have missed something, but I didn't see anything specifically related to this.
thanks much!
