(no subject)
So, I cut just about 15" of my hair off. That being said, I can use SO MUCH LESS product on my hair! This means I will be majorly conserving my American Cream Conditioner, which I had previously tried so hard not to go through like water. This also means that my Godiva Shampoo Bar, as well as my BIG Shampoo will last longer, and I'll be using about a fifth of what I would normally have had to use of R&B. AWESOME!
Anyway, I've since placed like 3 different orders with Lush, so I'm going to review the stuff from my first order, and then tell you what I ordered in the other two. They're not here yet, (second order should be here today!) but when they do get here I will review the items!
This order came in a WHILE ago, I just never got around to doing this... So I've had plenty of time to use these products and form opinions.

Summer Pudding smells okay, and I love how the white part has the ground almonds in it. That part feels really nice on my skin. The pink parts smell different from the white parts, but mixed together it smells pretty good. Maybe a little sickeningly sweet/tart at times, but a neat soap regardless. The piece that I got was mostly pink, and I only see one cherry in it so far. Still not entirely sure yet if I'll repurchase, but so far it's nice.
I haven't really used 9-5 THAT many times, but it doesn't do as good of a job at taking my eye makeup off as Babyface does. It feels really nice on the rest of my face, but I find that it leaves a strange feeling residue if I don't wash my face with something else after? Hmm. It smells very fresh and clean... Sort of boring, actually. Very soap-y smelling. I'm fairly disappointed, but at the same time I can't exactly say that it's a bad product... I just like Babyface more for the purpose I use the two items for.
I love Gentle Lentil! It doesn't smell anything like what I'd been told it smells like (Fudge & Vanilla?), but it still smells nice. Very light, and makes my hair ridiculously shiny. I might even like it more than Godiva as a solid shampoo?! It's very creamy, however, and melts away really quickly. Since it was from the website, it came in a 100g cube just like they send the soaps offline. I cut it into 3 slabs, and I'm already mid-way through my second slab and this order got to me less than a month ago...
Sore Labours smells like Wiccy Magic Muscles but without the Aduki beans. I'm not impressed, I was hoping it would smell better... (I'm still on a desperate search for a product that smells like Pied de Pepper that isn't for your feet!) I can only comment on the scent, however, because I'm holding off on using it until it gets cold out again and Christmas comes around. It's a very Christmas-y scent to me, and definitely not a match for summer.
As far as the samples go-- For the record: HONEY WAFFLE AND NO.1 SEED SOAP SMELL HORRENDOUS. That is all. I used my sample of Karma bubble bar already and I loved it, and I keep sniffing my sample of Pop in the Bath, so I'll be using that sample soon, too... And maybe buying the full sizes of both?
