i just called my local LUSH outlet [tampa, fl, international plaza] and I spoke with a lovely person who will be participating in the media action THIS wednesday. she told me that all lush stores in the united states and canada will be participating in this action.
wow this makes me want to support lush way more than ever.

So you want to spread the word about Alberta's tar sands with RAN and LUSH on June 9th? Your mission, should you choose to accept it, will be to choose the role that suits you. Wanna hand out flyers? Gather petitions? Talk to media? Or just show your support? Great! We need you.
Here's how:
1. Go to http://www.lushusa.com/shop/find right now to find a LUSH store near you in the US or Canada.
2. Call the store and let them know that you're interested in spreading the word about the tar sands on June 9th and what role you'd like to play. They'll be expecting your call.
3. Be at LUSH for the action at 11:30am (sharp!) local time on Wednesday, June 9th. Plans at each shop may vary a bit, but all shops will be set up with t-shirts, signs, flyers and petitions for you to get the word out about this destructive oil project and what people can do to end its expansion.
4. Bring a camera, capture the moment and send your photos in to bolson [at] ran.org right away. We want to share your actions with the world!
Thanks so much for helping us educate North America about an oil project that is harming Indigenous peoples, wildlife and the beautiful Boreal.
