No, I have not steamed my face before hand. I had no idea you were supposed to. I hate putting hot water on my face because it dries my out. If I do steam my face I usually put the towel in the boiled water and steam only over my nose because I have a lot of black heads.

I will! Right now I'm using Mandelic Acid from Garden Of Wisdom and I'm going to see how that works out first.

Steam first, your face may have some hidden ugliness it's trying to get rid of. Give if three weeks, if it's still breaking you out, return it.
