UK Order/Canvas Bag and Liquid Products...
I received my online order from the UK yesterday, and of course was thrilled to see the package, but my heart sank a bit when I opened it up to find that something had spilled all over... I ordered: Luverly ballistic (retro), Mint Julips Lip scrub, Sweet lips lip scrub, Aqua Mirabils underwater melt (retro) and a Lush canvas bag (!!)
I politely asked for samples of Gorgeous and American Cream, and any other lotions or hair products they had handy, as I haven't tried much of those products. I was thrilled to see that I got 7 generously sized samples of: American cream, Gorgeous, Recon, Coolaulin, Okra, The Strokes, and H'Suan Wen Hua!!
Unfortunately, Gorgeous and Okra had spilled everywhere, and had even evaporated (???) as I didn't see signs of the product, but the containers were nearly empty. The Strokes has spilled a bit, and as it is darker in color, I could see it on some of the popcorn pieces. As for my canvas bag, they wrapped it in a yellow Lush paper sack, and a small part of the canvas bag had product on it, but not enough for me to contact the company. Did you know that the canvas bag has a small pocket on the front of it?? I hadn't realized that before, but I may end up using my Lush bag as my go-to canvas bag for shopping because of the pocket!!
In the photo, I placed a sample half in, half out of the pocket so you could see how big the pocket is. The pocket is about half the size of the bag.
I can't wait to try ALL of my new products and samples, too! I didn't order the other lip scrub because the description made it seem too bubble-gum sweet. Also, the UK site shows a new bath melt, which I've already ordered, as well. Let's hope that shipment stays dry!
