Quick review of Magic Mushroom and Love Soap
Got my first Valentine's Lush order in the post yesterday. I say first because there is going to be another, oh my goodness yes. I just ordered (in addition to some non-Valentine's stuff), Magic Mushroom and Love Soap to try them out. Having just gotten out of my bath, this is what I think.
So far, I'm not all that impressed with MM, which is a shame because I love how it looks and really wanted to love how it smells, sadly, I didn't. Granted I only used a little bit, but I would have had bubbles overflowing otherwise and with the bit I used it barely coloured the water and smelt...vaguely bleachy to me. Not thrilled, but I want to try the rest of the bar before I decide I don't like it. Still a cute bar though!
I also used my Love Soap. Now I'm not usually a fan of glitter in bath stuff, after all, there's places you really do NOT want glitter, but I found myself loving the red glitter in the water and there weren't excessive amounts of it. And oh the smell! Sex Bomb is my favourite ballistic and this is the same scent and it was sheer heaven. It also produced loads of soft lather, which I was impressed by, since I make soap myself and am ultra picky. I had to wash twice with it, just to get it to linger even more on my skin! I also noticed it made me feel ultra clean too, even more so than any other Lush soap I've ever used and let's face it, they're all lovely. Gorgeous. Loved the shape of it too! If you like the smell of Sex Bomb, run, don't walk, to get Love Soap. I'm going to be buying lots to stockpile and mourning the fact it's only a Valentine's limited edition. Wish they'd make a solid scent of this!!
